(referred to as THE ENTITY), which operates the website – (Website), BoxTV mobile application (App)and provides service through it (BoxTV Service). Capitalized terms which have been used here but are undefined shall have the same meaning as attributed to them in the Terms of Use.

You should not access or use BoxTV Services by any means or technology which conceals your actual geo-location or is unable to provide accurate details of the location (for example, use a virtual. Private network (VPN) to access BoxTV Services).


To avail certain services on the BoxTV Service, users are required to provide certain personally identifiable information for the registration process which may include:- a) your name, b) email address, c) gender, d) date of birth, e) mobile number, f) password etc., and / or, interests, and the like. The Information as supplied by the users enables us to improve the BoxTV Service and provide you the most user-friendly experience.

Further, any comments, messages, blogs, scribbles etc. posted/uploaded/conveyed/communicated by users on the public sections of the Site becomes published content and is not considered personally identifiable information subject to this Privacy Policy.

In case you choose to decline to submit personally identifiable information on the Site, we may not be able to provide certain services on the Site to you. When you register with the BoxTV Service, we contact you from time to time about updation of your personal information to provide the users such features that we believe may benefit / interest you.

You may be allowed to log in to our Site using sign-in services provided by Facebook, Google etc. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us. If you log-in to our Side using such third party log-in services, then you shall be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy in addition to any terms and conditions of such third party

  1. Information from your device

    When you use BoxTV Services, we may also collect information from your device. This information includes the make and model of your device, the operating system of the device, software details, device IDs, IP address, information about your telecom network, last login details, geographical location.

The Information as supplied by the users enables us to (i) to provide you BoxTV Services, (ii) improve the App and/or the Services and provide you the most user-friendly experience, (iii) statistical analysis, (iv) show you personalised advertisements and other contents, (v) To send you marketing and promotional materials . All required information is service dependent and the Company may use the above said user Information to, maintain, protect, and improve the Services (including advertising on the App) and for developing new services.

We collects, uses, stores and processes Your information for any purpose as may be permissible under applicable laws (including where the applicable law provides for such collection, usage, storage or processes in accordance with the consent of the user) connected with a function or activity of each of Company or its group companies and shall include the following:

THE ENTITY shares the sensitive personal information with any third party without obtaining the prior consent of the User in the following limited circumstances:

  2. THE ENTITY proposes to share such information within its group companies and officers and employees of such group companies for the purpose of processing personal information on its behalf.
